The Mayor and Council had the honor of attending the Lywood Electric groundbreaking ceremony today. Their new facilities, located in the Frank M. Adams Industrial Park, will house new expanded offices, warehouse and equipment shed. We are all eager to watch the progress in the upcoming months.
Lywood Electric first opened its doors in 1976 and has always been based in Federalsburg. We know when looking to expand their operation, the Lyden’s had other options. We are very thankful they chose to remain in Federalsburg and are proud to say not only are they homegrown, they are doing their part in making Federalsburg first.
